Oh boy time for some self promotion!
- I have a YouTube channel, simply called Arcsin! It’s more of a hobby and my upload schedule is nonexistent but I do enjoy making videos! Mostly gaming and reactions with a few memes sprinkled in, and I’d love to expand it to speedpaints and animatics someday!
- I have a sideblog dedicated to the scifi fantasy series I want to write someday, Steldomo! The blog is aptly named @steldomo, and it has art and some story ideas. You could also explore some tags here to see my ideas, such as #steldomo, #my characters, #my ocs, #my story, or some characters names!
- I have another sideblog, @shared-english-vas, where I scroll through the website Behind the Voice Actors and document my findings, looking for the funniest instances of characters with the same actor. For example, did you know that the voice actor of Mephiles from Sonic 06 might’ve been in bootleg film Ratatoing? Or that Overhaul from My Hero Academia plays Freddy Fazbear in a couple fnaf games? Or that Prince Zuko from ATLA guest starred in some fanmade Homestuck dubs?
In the club
I think I’m literally never gonna be sick of this masterpiece. I think watching it on a loop for eight hours could fix me. Dancing’s what clears my soul. Dancing’s what makes me whole.

what I really liked as a little kid was that an old nice man would visit our neighbourhood every saturday in his little green fiat 126p, park on the edge of our old and ugly playground, and set up his cotton candy machine.
it was a loud and horrible metal thing smelling of fuel and burnt sugar. it was the best cotton candy ever. the small cotton candy cost 50gr and the big one (so big you couldn’t eat it alone!) cost 1zł. he’d always wait as we stood under the balconies, each kid yelling MAMOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAAJ MI NA WATEEE
if you only had super small change like 20gr he’d still make one for you, just very small. and if you stayed until obiad time when he would start disassembling the whirring miracle machine, he’d let you scrub out the sticky bits of half-cottoned sugar with ice cream sticks.
cheesy songs would play on his little radio and a gaggle of other grandpas and uncles would gather around him if the day was sunny to talk about old times. we’d tease him all the time, monsters that we were, or try to sneak into his ugly-green maluch.
made a lot kids smile, especially if you didn’t really have much money.
hope you’re alright, wherever you are.
and you know, it’s funny – each time that I see a green fiat like his or each time I see cotton candy, I think of this man. he’s probably gone now, none of us even ever knew his name, he was just pan od waty. but even a loose 50gr coin found in a pocket now makes me think, 20 years later:
oh, enough for a small cotton candy on saturday!

fascinated by the negative spaces in pink diamond/rose quartz’s characterization. we only get her through others’ perceptions and memories, we never get her explaining herself, the only message left directly by her is the videotape for steven. we don’t hear her motives, her feelings, her regrets, we (via steven) just hear how her life was remembered by those who knew her and have to try and patchwork her together. almost all character progression on the show happens when someone finally stops and opens up about why they are the way they are so it can be empathized with and fixed, but rose never got that chance, it seems that she did most of her processing in private before eventually going out on her own terms. there’s a lot that I think can be easily inferred, but we can never be certain.

LOVE failed chosen ones. Chosen ones who failed and chosen ones who aren’t special and never were and chosen ones by chance and chosen ones by a choice not their own and chosen ones who succeeded at what cost
